We’re Patricia and Mat — the duo behind Soulways Photography, based in beautiful Dorset and travelling wherever love takes us. Together, we capture weddings in a way that feels real, romantic, and joyfully alive.

Our approach is simple: we blend candid, documentary-style storytelling with a soft, romantic touch.

Hi, we’re Pat & Mat!

Based in the beautiful seaside town of Weymouth, Dorset, photography has been our passion for years. We love capturing people, emotions, and the little moments that make your day uniquely yours.

Patricia’s background in theatre and underwater photography taught her to capture personality and emotion, while Mat’s travel photography adventures—from New Zealand to Australia—helped him frame landscapes, wildlife, and life’s unexpected moments beautifully.

On your wedding day, we’re more than photographers—we’re your friends, helping your day run smoothly. From calming nerves to adjusting dresses or buttonholes, we’ve got your back so you can relax and enjoy every moment.

We specialize in both big celebrations and intimate weddings, creating a relaxed, joyful atmosphere and guiding you to feel natural in front of the camera. Our goal is to capture your love story in a timeless, soulful way.

Outside of weddings, we love exploring the outdoors with our little dog Rupert, sailing, paddleboarding, cooking over a cast-iron pan, visiting National Trust properties, and traveling—Italy is top of our list for dream weddings! We already photographed wedding abroad in Germany and we fully enjoyed it!
